Project Digital Tomorrow

KYOCERA’s ground floor location comprises a showroom, product demonstration suites, meeting rooms and the company’s first Northern sales office.  Add to that a mezzanine floor and KYOCERA have over 4,000 sq ft of space in Chancery Place overall. Designed by award-winning architects to enhance the diverse architecture of the Upper King Street Conservation Area, Chancery Place is home to a range of blue-chip organisations and is part of the first phase of Manchester’s ‘Project Digital Tomorrow’.

Next Systems acted as the electrical and data cabling contractor for a leading Surrey based furniture and fit out company, the works package required attention to detail for electrical power and lighting together with a Category 6 cabling infrastructure.

Heathrow Terminal 5
Greater London – August 2008

2yr Contract

Next Systems were approached by a national M&E contractor to support this sizeable infrastructure project within the T5 new terminal building. Called in to support the terminations of the Category 6 cabling infrastructure the contract was extended for a period of approximately 2yrs.

The project was completed within schedule, whilst constantly maintaining an exceptional level of health and safety requirements during the building of one of Europe’s largest airport developments.

The key to the success of the Category 6 installation works   was down to an excellent partnership with the contractor, and, once again, Next Systems high-level of on site project management.

30 St.Mary’s Axe

Now affectionately know as The Gherkin Building, Next Systems was approached by a leading London building contractor to design, install and commission a Category 6 cabling infrastructure over two floors for a single occupancy city law firm.

Working in the centre of London`s financial district at the time  in one of London`s newest building presented its challenges, detailed planning for deliveries and on site labour took priority which enabled a timely installation for the city client.

Regents Park – Greater London – April 2006

On time & On budget

After a successful tendering process, Next Systems were selected to install and commission a Brand-Rex Category 5e network cabling infrastructure, supported by a full 25-year warranty programme, at the renowned London Business School in Regents Park.

The installation comprised of some 6000 Category 5e network outlets along with approximately 50km of Fibre and copper backbone cabling.

Staff and 1000 students a year benefit from the installation, which succeeded due to Next Systems full-time, on site project management team headed up by David Kingerley.  This project was delivered on time and within budget.
